I have been taking photographs on and off for about 7 years before I started taking it seriously 3 years ago.
A few months after I purchased my very first DSLR, I had a one-man show at the Filipinas Heritage Library I called "Un/Scene". The Un/Scene collection carried 20 black and white abstract photographs shot in various places in Manila, Shanghai and Tokyo. Two of the photographs were included in Digital Photographer Philippines' September issue calendar.
In 2007, a small company called CatchPhoto was established by myself and a few other like-minded photographers. We specialize in taking children's photographs in their natural environment -- their homes, pre-schools, playgrounds -- as we believe that this is where they are most comfortable, thus resulting in naturally beautiful pictures.
My product shots were recently published in Metro Him magazine. This is a first of what I hope to be a steady stream of commercial publications in the future.
